You make a good point, but the Senate isn’t in session until October 19th so that’d be hard for them to do. The bottomline is Trump and Republicans said they’d do the standalone bill so the ball is in her court to at least say she’ll do it instead of doublethink political gamesmanship, “I’ll support a standalone bill that’s part of a bigger bill.” It’s very dishonest and we need to call it out.

Her logic isn’t even “put it on my desk and then we’ll talk.” She has effectively shot it down because she doesn’t want a second round of COVID relief to succeed before the election. How do I know? Have you seen what she proposed in her bill?

This is clearly not someone acting in good faith during a crisis. It is a big middle finger to Republicans at the expense of the American people.
